Pregnancy or breastfeeding have you feeling too buxom?

Categories: Playground Bureau, Weird But True

You know how people say you can never be too thin or too rich? Well, the FDA has decided you can be too busty.

The polypropylene string method of breast enlargement has been banned in the United States and UK out of health concerns. The procedure involves implanting polypropylene strings that absorb fluid into the breasts, which creates a bust line that keeps increasing over time, often leading to cleavage of cartoon character-like proportions.

Because of the ban, it looks like Maxi Mounds, current holder of the Guinness Book of World Records "Largest Fake Breasts" title will be the uncontested champion for a while. Mounds' mounds (sorry!) measure an eye-popping 60 1/2" and each breast weighs 20 lbs.

So when you're nursing and engorged and feeling like your ginormous chest could NOT get ANY larger, think of Maxi and remember: it could. It really, really could!
