Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have donated $1,000,000 to charities in Iraq and the United States. Through their Jolie-Pitt foundation, the power couple's donations will focus on the needs of children affected by the war.
$500,000 was given to three charities in Iraq to support children's education. Another $500,000 was donated to give aid to children whose parents were killed in the war or who have a parent in the military. The $1,000,000 will provide educational supplies and counseling to children.
Jolie is a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations. Pitt has made a name for himself building homes for those devastated by the flooding in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. It's nice to continutally be able to report on celebrities doing GOOD! Thanks, Ange and Brad!

Other UN based groups have actually had tangible results but you don't hear or see their Ambassadors traipsing around the place, they just get on with things. All we get from Jolie is her travels and well placed "we have to help" when she has a movie coming out. At least, she has stopped with the relentless press releases.

. Seriously though ,I'm worn out with there do gooding publicity .Very nice they give 1 million .One million is pennies to such mega millionaire. And I do not envy them at all.
They care for children but yet they do not marry and give there own children the respect of a real father and mother. That doesn't make sense at all !
I don't mean to slam them . They may be good people . But ,here again . True cherity never looks for prominence . True ,loving generousity always remains in the background . It does not seek glory from the masses. never !
