The last thing a busy mom wants is more laundry, or more complicated laundry, but don't shy away from great fabrics like linen because you're worried about caring for them. A washable linen skirt is a nice shorts alternative -- cool and light for hot days, but pretty enough to go out in. And don't worry about your linen wrinkling; unless you are sitting for hours on end, you'll be fine. And honestly, what mom EVER gets to sit down during the day?
