God is not a fact and the Bible was written by hundreds of jewish men over hundreds of years. I wonder if they got every word from god or if they allowed just a little of their personal prejudice to creep in.

I think what god would want is for you to think for yourself and love thy neighbor and accept that this is a country the usa and it is founded on a core value that there is a seperation of church and state. Not everyone in this country and world are christian. you believe homosexuality is wrong, dont engage in homosexual activity, but in a country where church and state are seperate your "but the bible told me so shit is exactly that irrelevant shit that may justify your way of life but not dictate the lifestyle of others.

Yes us gays can support many of the stores. We most of the time are the ones with the dual income with no kids. go back and check your facts as well... we are more than one percent of the population and yes we are getting bigger everyday.

You said it! I have always said if GOD wanted us to be gay he would have given us interchangable private parts. Gay couples can't make babies. I pray for them too!!!!

I am a Christian. Other people who "have let Christ into their lives" should read the New Testament to learn what Christ said on the subject of homosexuality. He said nothing. Nothing. Please also read the six references to Sodom & Gomorrah in the Old and New Testaments -- you will be surprised to learn that these cities were NOT destroyed because of homosexuality. There are two references to homosexuality in Leviticus in the Old Testament. If you are using these two verses as "God's word" then I assume you are also following God's word about not eating shellfish or pork, you have no tattoos, you have separate cookware for meat and dairy, and you sacrificed a lamb each time you had a child, etc. Please, educate yourselves and don't take anyone else's word for these things. (BTW Leviticus also says that you must atone on the 10th day of the 7th month, and you must not work on that day or your soul will be destroyed. Enjoy your day off.)

If it were the other way around, and gay marriage was the norm, and heterosexual marriage was the one being challenged, could you just accept being accepted, or would you want to get married like everyone else?

i am sorry to have to tell you but that would never happen/ we were placed in this world to reproduce / i refuse to believe that an act on perversion is natural. I have excepted that we all have to live with each other and that is fine. I respect anyone's way of life / but traditions and morals is something we need in this country and it is laking. And if it was the other way around this world would not exist. And if it is so natural what you all do , why is it that you rely on a hetero-act to have children.
