I say great for Charlie. I think Denise is and always was a bitch. No, he's not innocent, but in this case, he was right. She insisted on the shot, and has no respect for him as a parent to come to a joint decision, then she should have to pay for it. And if he were forced to pay, then giving it in nickels proves a point - childish as it may be. I am a 46 year old woman by the way.

As long as he pays does it matter. but i feel sorry for the person having to do the night deposit that night. that would be hard to do i'd think. :O) All the times i thought about doing something like that, now that i'd been a cashier 17 plus yrs not a good idea. because who ever gets all the rolls would have to count them all out, a few would be ok but $400.00 WOW!!! to funny.

Been there done that with an ex. Hubby was responsible for 50% of unpaid medical/dental expenses - as well as providing medical/dental insurance through his job - but had NO options when it came to the dr/dentist/orthodonist that were used. Any reason WHY the ex chose the MOST expensive services out there??? We tried to get her to use someone closer and cheaper but no dice. Said it was HER decision....which it really wasn't. (They had joint legal custody.) Made kids feel like it was the ONLY decision. She even had braces put on one kid when her ortho advised her that it was not necessary. Reason was that the older one had to wear them so the younger one should too. Any wonder why hubby became financially absent when it came time to pay for college???? Once the kiddos turned 18 and out of high school, he was done.

There is an old law in banking that says payment doesn't have to be accepted if its over 13 or 15 coins. This is cute and funny but the payment could be refused at his expense.

THAT IS NOT TRUE ABOUT ANY OLD LAWS....I WORKED IN A BANK AND WE HAD TO TAKE ANY KIND OF CURRENCY INCLUDING FOREIGN CURRENCY AS PAYMENT .....LIKE LOAN PAYMENTS TOWARD CARS.....THERE IS NO BANK IN THE ENTIRE WORLD THAT WOULD REFUSE ANY KIND OF CURRENCY AS A PAYMENT.....THAT INCLUDES DOCTORS OFFICES....CURRENCY IS CURRENCY.....THERE ARE NO LAWS ON ANY BOOKS GOVERNING THE DENOMINATIONS ....

Vaccinations should be a joint decision . I agreed that children do need so of them. Why at 3-4 wks of age are they mega dosed .I had my children vaccinated with everything but Peturris because my first one had a bad reaction to it and my DOCTOR told me the chances of a silbing having a reaction was indeed greater.I also only allowed single shots every 3months.We don't travel outside the US, they were not in daycare , and no I do have money to burn.But I do know what MY RIGHTS are as a mother. And they are for me to obtain as much information possible,before making a judgement call.
I do not like either Charlie or Denise, but viewing the story I'm on his side.

What the hell kind of shots for kids cost $400.00? He has a right to feel he's being screwed...he is! I wouldn't have paid it and would have instead sent the amount from the same treatment at local clinics. If they chose to turn down the check then it's paid in full under the law. But this amount is astronomical.

Immunizations are dangerous to young children. The amount of mercury in these things are above the toxic level. Same with flu vaccinations, they contain toxic levels of mercury. Why do you non believers think that autism has skyrocketed in the past twenty years? WAKE UP!!!! Charlie is right in not wanting his children poisoned!

First off, the preservative that was questioned in causational links to autism was discontinued over a decade ago. Second, the rise in autism rates is due to the increased diagnosis, not because there are more cases. Check your medical facts first.
