Daily Dish - Make chores age appropriate
Categories: Chores
You'd never ask a three-year-old to vacuum the living room, but if you give them a damp rag, they'll happily dust the tables for you. Chores are a part of family life, and nearly every member of the family is able to contribute something to the family's chore list. Little ones can pick up toys or dump dog food into a dish. Bigger kids can sweep or dust. And teenagers are old enough to do just about any job Mom and Dad can do.If you aren't sure which chore is appropriate for which child, check out About.com's age-appropriate chore chart for ideas.
