Roseanne Barr rips Angelina Jolie and the kids

If you thought 'funny' lady Roseanne Barr had quietly disappeared to wherever it is that loud, opinionated comedians disappear to, you were wrong. She's still out there and she's still making her opinions known. A few days ago, she posted a rather nasty piece on her blog taking aim at actor John Voight, his daughter Angelina Jolie, as well as Brad Pitt and the kids. Barr appears to be angry that Voight isn't supporting Barack Obama and that Jolie has said she likes McCain but is undecided as to who will get her vote. According to Barr, that makes Voight a "frightened little girl in a pink ballet tutu" and Jolie his "evil spawn." Brad did not escape Barr's wrath either as she refers to him as Jolie's "vacuous husband."
Addressing Jolie, Barr writes: "....it might be good for your Asian and African children's self esteem to know you support a brown man for the leader of the free world. How nice of Barr to be so concerned for the self-esteem of the Jolie-Pitt children. It is unfortunate that she refers to their biological children as "dunces that will consume more than their fair share and wreck the earth even more."
Of course, Barr is entitled to her opinions and her political point of view, but I am just not sure what she was trying to accomplish with this rant. Calling someone an evil spawn and referring to their children as dunces is probably not the best way to bring them around to your way of thinking.

I always wonder why Americans insist on calling their President the "Leader of the Free World."
As for Ms Barr, I don't understand why anyone would bother listening to her incredibly offensive rants. If I were the Jolie-Pitt's (I wish!) I certainly wouldn't care one way or another what an obviously unbalanced whack-job has to say about me, my politics or my family.

Ms. Jolie is a cuckoo bird, admit it. McCain proudly used a racial term to describe Asians. Look it up.

Miss Wannabe (Roseanne whatever---) and all those who agree with her need to remember a big detail, the Pitts have something you all don't even know how to spell, it's called "Class".
Look it up in the dictionary and you will find Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.
If you want to find Roseanne's meaning, look under Sewer.

The reason for Roseanne to say this? She's a has been and no one talks about her anymore, so she picked the people do talk about and showed how stupid and childish she is by ranting about them just to get noticed.

I don't no any 1 who does not like Brad & Angelina. If there are people out there that feel that way, its just PURE JEALOUSEY. They are the Romeo and Juliet iof this World. ( period).

To the two poster(s) from China(?) asking why the American President is regarded as the leader of the free world, and hardly only by Americans, is because no one else does it or supports freedom, free enterprise, et al, in their hemisphere or ours. They do! And without them we wouldn't know we could, including the internet you're trying to use so inconspicuously. That's the fact and the truth of all the matter to that. Roseanne is as arrogant as posers like you on the internet.

Please help me ban small children from r-rated movies. People's bad parenting shouldn't have to ruin our movie-going experience, especially when we are spending so much to go to the movies these days. Please sign the petition below.

I never really cared for Rosanne Barr but she is right on the money with her comments about the Jolie-Pitt gang. Why do they get so much publicity when there are so many other celebrities who have done so much more? The only reason that they are in the media spotlight so much is because they are a glamourous couple. They adopted a couple of kids and now live in a $70,000,000 home in the countryside in France. Hardly digging in the muck building homes for the poor. Give me a break. Mia Farrow did more single-handedly with her brood (15 children) than the Jolie-Pitts. She even adopted handicapped children and is politically active. Not glamorous, though, right? I know an author who not only contributed $2,500,000 to a children's village in Africa but is also down there working on the project. Those of you who think that Jolie-Pitt are doing anything special by adopting a couple of kids and giving some money to charity are really naive. The Jolie-Pitts make me want to barf.
