The "full figure" bra only goes up to size 42C !!! What's with that??

I agree. Don't know what they think full size is, but it's not a C.

Hi I wear a balconette bra from JC Penny. I love it! I wear a 40 D and it looks nice under T-shirts and dress shirts! Its a little cheeper than this one and sometimes you can get them on sale.

I'm a 38F and would love to find a pretty, full support, minimizing bra. Cleavage tends to bounce, so wouldn't like it for thin tees. Also, if I bounce, it almost hurts. I'm uncomfortable in narrow straps as shown in this picture. I'm currently in a Bali that only gives me DDD, not F, and it doesn't feel the same as an F, as fitters have told me it is.
I would spend $50 on a bra if I could get all that I need. Thank you.

I don't know where you live, but in N.J. there's a good bra store that carries up to size J. I unfortunately take an I cup. Ouch!!!

Have you checked out your local Lane Bryant?... they might not have those cup sizes in the store, but I think they can order u anything up to like, size H from their catalogue. you can also find them online @ www.lanebyrant.com

Hi Ann--I sell the Norvell Bras and have a full range of sizes. You can email me at jld3@mchsi.com for sizing information or types of bras. We have White & Beige Short line bras as well as Long Line Bras. Not to mention Mastectomy bras too. I have them on sale right now as well. Half the price!

I wear a bra from Lane Bryant made by Cacique. I buy them about twice a year when they are buy two, get two. It's a nice t-shirt bra, I can't stand lacey bras and refuse to wear anything with a seam across the nipples!!! They cost a little more, but with us big busted girls, you get what you pay for. (That's why I wait for the sale) :)

None of the dept store bras work for me. I am very full busted and have to have the extra support without the wires and wider straps.
I wear the Norvell custom fitted bras that have to be fitted by the representative. No wires and no padding. Come in regular to extra long lengths. No matter the size of your bust you can be fitted and feel comfortable with out the strain on your shoulders and back.
With all the other "full size" bras part of the bust tends to hang out the bottom of the cups, but not with these.
I have been wearing these for thirty-five years. The price is a bit high but for the durability they are worth it. I buy two extra long lines at a time and pay about $100. My rep gives me a deal on special holidays.

Does this come in a size 32D

I went to Her Room and read customer reviews of most of the bras listed . They were all quite negative. I wonder who thinks these are great bras if most of the people purchasing them think they are horrible. There is nothing worse that the underwire stabbing you!

I also buy them at Lane Bryant because I need a 44DD and that is not the easiest thing to find. I really wish companies would not say they offer "full figure" bras and then only carry them up to a 42 that is ridiculous

I have to object to the use of the word "boobs". They are BREASTS! The word boob means a stupid person. Let's get rid of all the derogatory terms men have made up to demean us.
I wear a 36 DD....and I plan to get a lift soon....at 66, you need more than a bra. How about those under breast rashes? Not so comfortable!? No, I am not a lesbian....just a female who has not let a conservative government send me back to the 50's! jane

Jane, I totally agree. I detest that word used in that way. With my breasts I fed and gave comfort to my kids when they were very small, my husband takes pleasure in them, and they are part of me. I have no boobs.
kk 10-03-2008 @ 1:47PM
The photo is just wrong. Who wants the top of their breasts pushing out of the bra so when you have clothes on it looks like you have two sets.
Also, why is it that the choices in bras for anyone over a C either have some sort of padding or make you look like you have torpedos or better yet the "minimizers" that squish you back up under your arm pits.

Are you kidding? Who would want this look in a tee shirt? When your cleavage is so exposed (as shown) you look stupid because you have this showing right through the tee shirt. I hate it. I haven't found an affordable bra that does the job for women who do have large breasts but do not want the cleavage exposure. I have even
tried to solve the problem by sewing wide lace on the top part of the bra, which doesn't work well with my limited sewing skills. I just read the comments above and will look into JCPenny, Lane Bryant and Norvell. It seems the designers/manufacturers of bras must be men because I can see there are plenty of women out there who are as unhappy about about this bra situation as I am.
