Jada Pinkett Smith says she's the strict parent
Filed under: Celeb Parents
Actress Jada Pinkett Smith may be tiny, but she's tough. She tells People magazine that despite hubby Will Smith's action hero status, she's the stricter parent. "He's so lenient on that stuff," she says with a sigh. "Daddy tends to [say], 'Yeah! Have chocolate cake for dinner! It's all right with me.' I'll come home and it's just, 'Has anyone had lunch?' 'Yeah, I had some Frosted Flakes!' "Mmm Frosted Flakes. Wait, what?
Pinkett Smith says that while neither she nor will is overly strict, they are all about rules: "We're not strict but we definitely believe it's a very important component for rearing children. It creates safety for them. They understand that they need guidance."
How about your house -- is one parent stricter than the other? Or is everyone dishing out the Frosted Flakes for lunch?
