Nestle Nesquik strawberry milk powder - Product Recall

Today's scary recall is brought to you by Nestlé. They have announced the recall of 28.1 ounce containers of Nestlé Nesquik Strawberry Powder because they may contain aluminum fragments.
The recall applies only to plastic containers with production code "82255880" or "82265880" and a best by date of "August 2010" printed on the bottom of the container. No other products or production codes are included in this recall.
These were sold in the United States and Puerto Rico. If you have some, you should return it to the store where purchased for a full refund. If you have questions or concerns about this recall, contact Nestlé Consumer Services Center at 888-637-4345.
The press release gives to indication as to just how aluminum fragments may have gotten into the containers, but Nestlé "apologizes for any inconvenience experienced by our valued consumers and retail customers."

I sure hope they are telling us consumers the truth, that it's indeed aluminum and not melamine. So many products that are made her in the USA contain ingredients that are shipped in from overseas. Just because a product states it was made here, doesn't necessarily mean that all of it's ingredients are from here. It took me a great deal of time on my latest shopping trip at Walmart because I now look at every single label. And yes, I still am not sure if the products are safe, unfortunately no one knows anymore. It's a very scary time and I have a terrible feeling that it's only going to get worse. One thing that would help to insure that our products are safe in the future, these giant retailers need to stop getting products made in Asia, and let them hurt financially for awhile and then maybe it would enlighten those idiots to stop putting hazardous chemicals into our food products, our pets food, children's toys, notebook metal rings, lunch boxes, etc. I had to take a deep breath there because it's a huge list of dangerous products out there and that list is incomplete. You should definetly look at everything as a risk.
