Family Favorites: Cheesy Pita Pizza

Pizza is nearly always a crowd pleaser. However, ordering takeout can get expensive and making your own dough can be time consuming and troublesome. These Cheesy Pita Pizzas are terrific because they are quick, easy and inexpensive to make at home. They'll work nicely for either lunch or dinner and kids love them because they can help pick out their toppings.

See! How fun and easy were those? Subbing in Italian dressing for tomato sauce gives the pizzas a zippy flavor and cuts the mess that marinara can make.

Here's a holiday idea- a family favorite in 5 minutes- to share:
SEND CARDS which are desperately needed to Homefront Hugs USA which will in turn send them for you to wounded troops, nurses and docs taking care of them to 4 hospitals (medical combat units) in Iraq and Afghanistan and to Landstuhl Germany where our troops go when severely injured and having to leave the war zone !
Make them with your kids- make them personal- include a photo or joke...and thank them for their service...
it is well received and means a hell of a lot !
