Categories: Alerts & Recalls
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced the recall of about 24,000 Arizona Newborn and Infant Denim Pants. The metal snap at the waist can detach and pose a choking hazard to babies. The recall involves newborn infant girl's and boy's denim pants in sizes 0-3 months, 3-6 months and 6-9 months. Only those pants that were made in Bangladesh are included in this recall - those made in China are not. You can find the country of origin on a label sewn into the waistband.
These were sold exclusively at JCPenney stores nationwide and at JCPenney online from July 2008 through October 2008 for about $15 each.
If you have the recalled pants, you should immediately stop using them and return them to any JCPenney store for a full refund. Pants purchased through the JCPenney Web site may be returned to the Catalog Desk at any JCPenney store.
