Girl Asks Santa to Make the Abuse Stop

When most kids write to Santa, they ask for things like baby dolls, Legos, or even a shiny new bike. But a nine-year-old girl in Texas had a much more important request. She asked Santa to please stop a male relative from touching her and her older sister.
The letter, which was reported by the child's school after the girl turned it in, led to the arrest of the man in question. Authorities suspect the abuse has been happening for a long time, and the man now faces up to 99 years in prison.
Spend just a few minutes watching children who truly believe talking to Santa and you'll understand why this girl thought he was the right hero to finally step in and help her. It's just so sad that she endured the abuse for so long and that she didn't feel she could tell the very real adults in her every day life. Those adults are taking care of the situation now, and our hopes are high that these kids won't ever be hurt again.

Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus. I'm so sorry it took so long to answer your request. Rest assured my dear that Santa's helpers in the blue uniforms and badges will make sure this man never harms you or your sister again.
He will be placed in my "bad reindeer" pen with the others on my naughty list. They don't like men who hurt little children. He will spend the rest of his life fighting off the bad reindeer named Slasher, Stabber, Killer and SticksEm, then Bomber, Stupid, Maim-er and TricksEm.

It great that he was caught. His privates should be cut off also as well as get the 99 years jail term. The girl's brave to write letter. I wish other were as well.

I am from McAllen,TX and the building where this sick man is employed by the school district houses a program for troubled youth trying to make it through High School, but it happens to be adjacent to a building that houses a program for advanced students who excell in academics. My daughter attends the latter. Either way it's infuriating to think that this monster was right there so close to my daughter on a daily basis! He had access to many young kids from either program! I hope he gets a taste of his own and worse where he's going! I'll be praying for those kids emotional health and emotional peace
The schools should ask the kids to come forward if anyone ever had a bad or uncomfortable experience with him!

It would be nice if President Obama would implement a program in pre-k where teachers talk about good touches and bad touches at least once a month to kids so that this insanity can stop!!! I don't know what bothers me more, the actual abuse or the fact that these girls felt they couldn't tell the adults in their lives immediately. It happened to me 30 years ago and I told immediately. Parents need to get more involved and notice the changes in their children and ask questions if something seems wrong. My daughter is 15 now and everytime she went to visit her father and his family, the first question I asked her was If she was okay and did anything happen that she didn't like. I also started talking to her on a regular basis about good and bad touches. Thank God she didn't experience anything like that. You also have to be careful of who you leave your kids with. TRUST NO ONE!!!

I taught school for 20 years and so many parents didn't want the school to teach the difference between good and bad touching or good secrets that have a limited time frame and make us all happy to share in the end and bad secrets which are never meant to be shared and leave the keeper feeling bad and dirty inside. In most cases these were good upstanding families who felt it was the parents' responsibility to share their values with their children and to teach about such sensitive issues. As a parent and teacher I understood their desire to be the primary source of information but felt a huge responsibility to make sure the message got out in my classroom that no one has the right to touch us in any way that makes us feel uncomfortable. Hopefully my students knew they could talk to me if something didn't feel right.

I cant believe how dare he did to little sweet girl... like a abuse... i would be so piss off if anyone hurt my kids or whoever.. i will never let guy get out of jail... i rather have man stay prison for life... i glad that judge made a good decision to put man in jail up to 99 yrs prison.. i was hope he got raped in from prison to show him how he feel...!!

This guy is a hideous pos. He even looks evil. All molesters and rapists (priest included) should undergo forced castration. If female, the equivilent AND sew it up. Also wear a bracelet /and or chipped.
These people are destroying the lives of innocent children and others. The're costing taxpayers and basicly should not be alive @ all...
