Dapple Natural Cleaners
Categories: Health & Safety, Baby Essentials, Chores
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Kids are disgusting. They'll happily lick every inch of a toy, roll it around on the ground, and stick it right back in their mouths. Nothing like a little dirt and germs to add flavor to a toy. Even worse, they'll share their tasty treats with their friends, especially when they're sick. So what's a concerned parent to do?Sure, you could use some of those big name cleaners that'll kill any germs in a five mile radius, but if you're more interested in a natural, biodegradable alternative, the Dapple line of toy cleaners -- a spray, regular wipes, and travel wipes -- contain no phtalates, parabens, SLES, dyes or detectable levels of dioxane. They are also fragranced with pure lavender essential oil and are biodegradable. The company says, however, that they are not tested on animals, so they may not be so good at cleaning pets.
Dapple also offers dish soap and dishwasher powder. The dish soap includes "award-winning green technology to target milk residue" while the dishwasher powder "features specific enzymes to target the lipids and proteins commonly found in baby foods." If you're looking for something "baby-safe and baby-specific", you might want to check out the Dapple products. If you do, or if you've used them before, let us know in the comments how they work. Because, in a couple of days, I suspect we're going to have a lot more toys to clean.
