Gifts for Baby Boy Palin Pouring Into Alaska

Heath, 70, says boxes are piling up in the mail room of Bristol's mom, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.
"I'd say from a half-dozen countries," Heath says. "In Sarah's mail room, there's 87 boxes -- big boxes of mail that we haven't even opened." He adds that there's no way the family will ever be able to answer every letter, although they are trying.

"We both love each other," Levi Johnston, 18, told the AP in a rare interview about his relationship with 18-year-old Bristol Palin. "We both want to marry each other. And that's what we are going to do."

"Our beautiful daughter Bristol came to us with news that as parents we knew would make her grow up faster than we had ever planned," the Palins's statement said. "As Bristol faces the responsibilities of adulthood, she knows that she has our unconditional love and support."

Chuck and Sally Heath, parents of Sarah Palin. Chuck Heath, 70, says gift boxes for his newest grandson are piling up in the governor's mail room from all over the world. There's no way the family will ever be able to answer every letter, he says, although they are trying.

"Trig is beautiful and already adored by us," read a statement by the Palin when Trig was born on April 18. "We knew through early testing he would face special challenges, and we feel privileged that God would entrust us with this gift and allow us unspeakable joy as he entered our lives. We have faith that every baby is created for good purpose and has potential to make this world a better place. We are truly blessed."

Bristol Palin's new baby other grandma was in the news this year, as well. Sherry Johnston, Levi's mother, 42, pictured, was arrested on drug charges related to oxycontin in December.

The pregnancy of 18-year-old Bristol was a flash point during Palin's failed bid for the vice presidency, causing some to say that Sen. John McCain failed to properly vet the self-proclaimed hockey mom of five.
Heath, who says being thrust into the national spotlight has been disconcerting for the family, supports his daughter "100 percent" in all her endeavors, political or otherwise.
"All of a sudden [we] jumped into the mayhem," he recently told Grandparents.com. "We're very supportive of our daughter and her family. Very supportive. Anything she wants to do or undertake, we're backing her."
So what does he hope for his new great-grandson? That he's healthy and happy, of course.
No matter what your politics, I think we can all agree to that.

That's absurd to think that at her age Bristol will conform to "mommy's wishes". As very few parents want their kid out having sex, there'd be a lot less teens engaging in the act. Parenting is done by the time the child reaches 18, whatever choice she makes is her decision, not her mom's. Don't point fingers at someone that didn't make the choice. It's Brisol's life and decisions, it's her child. Don't blame Sara - her child is an adult now.

jEN said...It was reported that Sara Palin & Todd eloped & Bristol was born 6 months later! Hmmmmmmm seems to be a pattern of pregnancy before marriage. Why did Sara Palin hide her pregnancy of Trig right to the end? She consealed her baby bulge from public & reporters! Makes you wonder if the rumor that it was actually Bristols baby might be true. Only DNA knows for sure. Does it really matter if she is good at keeping secrets from public?

Wright said...I don't believe Bristol is having a baby, she had the baby already and her mother claimed it. Why is the grandfather doing all the talking and the proud mother is not saying anything? This is just a lie left over from her run for vp. Let just wait and see how they cover up no baby? Due date was Dec 18 and 20, what is the latest, why is Bristol in hiding again?

Another product of the great NEA education mafia in this poor country. A couple of more generations of these morons reproducing themselves and we will be getting foreign aid and missionaries from Somalia.

Once married, they can discuss over dinner during the holidays a Pardon for Levi's MOM after she is sentenced for her drug conviction. Alaska sounds like a fun place. All they do is make love, do drugs and hunt and look for foreigners in the distant waters.

J.A. Malden said...YOU, yes YOU. I'm hoping most of these insidious and calloused things being said are coming from the mouths of the hand full of teens who love getting online and causing havoc. If you are an adult, then shame on you. Never forget that "hate" isn't OK, in any form, and especially toward the young. It will come back to haunt you and your family. These are just your kids. I'm not a big Palin fan, but I am a big fan of giving young people a break. I'm not a follower of full abstinance, but get disgusted with those who criticize a young person for keeping a baby instead of getting rid of it. No doubt the latter way is easier, and allows you to keep looking good to the viewers, but leaves emotional scars forever. I seldom comment on these type pages, and wonder if they are healthy. They stir up a lot of hostile emotions, and bring in all the loonies. So, to Bristol and Levi, and to any other young people, especially the girls, who get the most vile comments, "may your life find great happiness, and yes, it takes a strong person to deal with the mean spirited comments that often come from ill willed, sick minded folks, who are often silly kids, and sometimes adults with personality deficiencies.

WTF???? said...IT BEATS ME WHY THEY ARE GLORIFYING PALIN'S DAUGHTER. FIRST OF ALL THE ONLY THING I SEE PALIN IS FAMOUS FOR IS BEING A DITZ (KATIE COURIC INTERVIEW) SECONDLY, I WOULD RATHER SEE PEOPLE IN NEED GET THESE "GIFTS". THERE ARE SO MANY CHILDREN AND ORGANIZATIONS THAT CAN BENEFIT. SHE IS JUST ANOTHER UNWED PREGNANT TEENAGER LIKE SO MANY HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF TEENS IN THIS COUNTRY. IF IT WAS ANYBODY ELSE, THEY WOULD GET CRITICIZED. WHY DOES PALIN'S DAUGHTER GET THIS GIGANTIC (BABY SHOWER)?

As for her qualifications, unless you are saying that living in a foreign country makes you qualified for higher office (in which case I'm qualified, I lived in England for 3 years), I don't see that President-Elect Obama is qualified. Or Caroline Kennedy or Senator Biden's senate seat-holder (although he is probably more qualified than any of the other people we're talking about here). The fact is, that neither Governor Palin nor President-Elect Obama have the foreign policy or economic experience to be President of the United States. What the President-Elect does have is a fair amount of intelligence, uber charisma, and admirable oratory skills. However, I'm sure if you search the annals of history, you'll find that a great many people with those same qualifications were less than exemplary leaders. That being said, maybe we can agree to hope for the best.

MB said...My best wishes to the health of the child; maybe the gifts can go to less fortunate people in Alaska and elsewhere. Wishing good thoughts is one thing, but Palin as President is another. A mayor with no police or fire department, and now a Governor with only 600,000 people in the isolated corner of America is not acceptable in this new age of internet communications and globablization. Palin would just be a pawn for Karl Rove types; she would not know enough of what is going on. There are numerous Republican women in higher office that are extremely more qualified than her for the office of the President. We need to let go now; John McCain did------at his concession speech after the election.

Granny said...Have a few questions that I wish I could get answers to to clarify things for myself.
How many of you married as virgins, were pregnant when you married or had babies without benefit of marriage?
How many watched Sat. Nite Live to get your facts on Mrs. Palin? How many knw the remarks that Tina Fey came up with as opposed to Mrs. Palin?
How many really think that you should be throwing stones and giving advice at and to this family?
How many really know when and if Mrs. Palin did indeed shoot wolves and moose from planes and Helicopters?
How many of you have real lives? My excuse is I am retired and have helath problems and so I spend time on the computer and post a fair amount.
Just what on this earth do politics have to do with a pregnant teen ager that is getting a lot of mail?
All for now, answers please???????

As for Caroline Kennedy, yes she is royalty, but she is another very intelligent, highly educated, well-spoken, and compassionate individual. She wants to help people, not exploit them. She is not mean-spirited; the women who ran for high office in the past election were. She is a great choice for New York; give her a chance. If she fails, then the election for New York Senate will be in 2010. You can vote her out then. Obama and Kennedy are all about respect for all of America. That is why they are rising up to the offices of high office.

Since I have an 18 year old daughter who has friends that are teen moms, if this were happening, I'm sure I would be aware. AND, if it were happening, you'd see the teen pregnancy rate plummet. Please, kool-aid drinkers, don't get your panties in a twist. I'm not suggesting that those would be good things, only what would happen as a natural consequence. Furthermore, while sending things to people in need would be great, I certainly can't account for why many people send stuff to celebrities who have babies. Maybe they don't know any good charities??

Family should be alowed to live free of interferences from outsiders. News media should keep them alone. The elections are over, and now we have a new president.

You praise and support them but you critize a teenager who made a mistake but is keeping the baby, marrying the father raising the child in a Chrisitan home;
Talking about Sara Pailin being so unqualified to be President, only time will tell how President elect Obama makes out as he is the most unqalified President we have ever had. Wait and see. I hope he surprised all of us
