Sylvia said...I think parenting older kids is something we are never taught about, never prepared for so the reality of it all is a shock!
So much is discussed and written about babies and toddlers, but I think the true mettle of parenthood is getting through the tween and teen years with your pysche intact, and your kid in one piece.
Cheers to all of us going through this... and grasp on to the good moments, which may seem sometimes too few and far between but are priceless when they occur.
