Who (or What) Did Your Fetus Look Like?

All newborns look like deformed lizards. For whatever reason, parents just don't realize it (otherwise, why would they take the screaming little lizard home from the hospital with them?) But what about before they come out of the womb? Who -- or what -- do they look like while inside? There have been a couple of instances of Jesus showing up (although that first one could have just as easily been a poodle -- or a guy I knew in high school).Surely, however, there have been other things spotted in an ultrasound besides gods and goddesses, yes? Why, yes, there have been. How about a Amy Winehouse or Edvard Munsch's painting, The Scream? Sure enough, they've shown up in ultrasounds one time or another. And then there's the fan and a pair of beanbags.
Has anyone else spotted anything in their ultrasound that didn't look like a baby-to-be? I don't think we ever had anything like that show up, although my mother-in-law is convinced my oldest son wave at her while she was watching an ultrasound. What did you see on the screen?

I was told by a friend that the ultrasound pic of my firstborn looked like something out of the "Alien' movie series. Thanks to him I had nightmares for a week of something bursting out of my very round tummy. Long after the fact now I can laugh about it, but at the time it was far from funny.

I am curious Roger. Do you not bond with our child until it comes out since you consider it a fetus the whole time it's in your wife's womb? When does your child become your baby?
Seriously, I am so over your trying to be so PC. Ugh.

Hmmm... I didn't realize that saying newborns look like lizards was being PC. Perhaps you can educamate me as to what would have been less so?
As to fetus... Inside, it's a fetus. Outside it's a baby. It becomes my baby after the paternity test. And I'll bond with it as soon as it's old enough to buy me a drink at the local pub.

LMAO....She looked like a peanut on the first ultrasound (8 wks), and then at 12 wks, she looked like an alien! At 18 weeks she starting looking like a baby.
