Elisabeth Hasselbeck is pregnant -- again! The co-host of television's The View and mother of two is expecting with husband Tim Hasselbeck, former Arizona Cardinal football player.
Hasselbeck made the reveal on The View: "I didn't even know for two months. I was walking around. I thought I had, I kept saying, 'Electionitis, electionitis.'" The Hasselbecks were "thoroughly happy with the surprise of it."
"I was tired, I was nauseous, I thought I was worn out from the whole procedure. No! I was knocked up and didn't realize it."
The new tot, whose sex is unknown, will join siblings Grace Elisabeth, three, and Taylor Thomas, 15 months. Once the new babe joins the clan, Hasselbeck will have three children under the age of five! How she'll handle that and being a working mom I'll never know.
Feisty Hasselbeck is known for her strong Republican views, and many a viewer tunes in to see her spar with her talk show co-hosts. I wonder if any of those pregnancy hormones will affect her views or her feistiness! Former co-host Rosie O'Donnell left the show after a very heated argument with a very pregnant Hasselbeck in 2007.
Elisabeth is due in August. Congratulations!

Elisabeth Hasselbeck is being fired from "The View," according to Us Weekly. Quoting anonymous sources, the magazine reported Friday that the conservative co-host is following Joy Behar out the door after market researchers found that her political views were clashing with the audience. "People did not watch the show because of Elisabeth. So they told her yesterday her contract would not be renewed," a source told Us Weekly.

maria said...3 under the age of 5 was pretty easy (# 3 was finally my easy baby) - it was 3 between 1-6 when they were all mobile that all hell broke loose. She''ll be fine - she has the resources to have good child care and outsource what she needs to (an observation - good for her) And - as someone who works - work is often a respite from my wonderful but exhausting family. I don't know how SAHM do it without an office to escape too!

windex said...I am with Maria I had three at one time (the oldest was 3) and the third was not a big deal until the third hit about 18months/2 years. Now that I have 4 (oldest being 5) I look back fondly to the "easy times" of 3 LOL
