Kate Gosselin is a Happy Camper. $40,000.00 per episode with free vacations. Sounds good to me! Poor old long suffering Jon is probably into whips and chains the way he takes Kate's belittling.
If it were not for the loss of the tv show ($160,000.00 per month) and child support, Jon would be long gone. No one in USA would blame him for refusing to be talked down to like a 3 year old.
Perhaps being voted the worse Mom in America will be a wake up call for Kate. There has got to be a gentle soul inside that cactus plant somewhere.

If Kate would get rid of that flap hanging over half her face and deal with Mady's issues, the show would be easier to take. She is a good Mom, considering there are 8 kids.

if you are "fussing at your husband" in front of your kids, then yes it does make you a bad mother. Letting kids see conflicts and resolution between you teaches them valuable lessons in respect and compromise but belittling your spouse while the kids listen teaches them something different entirely.

kate;s show can;t be cancelled...how else is she going to get her free vacations, free nanny, free spa days free cook and maid if her kids don;t bring home a pay check??????? she would have to move out of her 1.3 million dollar home. can't wait for the mommy dearest book to come out.

Honestly, I think they're both at fault. Don't get me wrong, I love the show and their kids are down-right adorable, however, I think Kate is way too controlling of Jon. I'm not sure if she realizes how hateful she comes across sometimes, BUT this does not condone Jon's behavior. He is married with eight children - it's time to grow up. They both need to put forth an effort to save their marriage, or, it seems to me, anyway, that they're headed for divorce. Hope everything works out for them.

I think Kate is a great mother and wife. She has to be the way she is if she wants to keep her family organized. I wish I was more like her - she has her children on a great schedule. They deserve the vacations!!! I love the show!!

I think the Goslins need a break..enough of the show..then when the kids are bigger can come back on..the children are like all other children but more..i came from a large family, just not all at once..so we got to see each one of us borned..As for a great mom, how can she not be? but she does say all the time she is losing her mind. But I really think to impregnate a woman artificially with that many eggs is child abuse.. some come out messed up..deprived.. and same when borned..all hooked up to all that machinery to live..it is abuse.. an normal egg will be developed and come out with all its stuff on average..why not just one egg or two..stop this crasy stuff... should be a law to do so..it dont make you a great mom ..its is stupidity and selfisness for fame...and child abuse from the get go...

No, she's a wonderful mother; but as a wife she seems horrible. I would have to seperate from her. I'm sure if there weren't any kids involved Jon would have been gone yesterday.

I don't think Kate is a bad mother. I think she is overwhelmed with 9 children. One of the kids being her hubby, Jon. And, no, I don't like the way she belittles him all the time, but in a way, she's being honest and not faking anything just cause they're on TV. I don't see nannnies, I don't see housecleaners, I don't see a maid anywhere helping the family out... it's mostly just Jon and Kate, and mostly Kate since I am presuming that Jon has a job somewhere. As far as her being bossy, wellllllllllllllllll , somebody has to step up, and if Jon won't, then looks like she will.

Kate is not a good parent people! She only does, from what I have seen, what is necessary for her children. Feed and clothe them. She has her favorites as we can all see and if we can see it I know her kids can see and feel it. As a parent you are suppose to balance one negative comment with 3 or 4 positives. I do not see her give very many positive comments to her kids, but I have seen here be downright cruel and mean with negative ones. I am not saying Kate does not love her children. Im sure she loves them very much, but all this advice people want from her about parenting?? Give me a break!
As far as Jon, he is just so beat down by her. It's like his spirit is broken from years of abuse and he honestly doesnt know what to do or what to say on interviews with her there (couch). She controls him with her presence and pokes fun of him on live tv.
If he's not answering a question fast enough on an interview, she jumps in and finishes it for him.
Sorry Jon, I know it must be an awful feeling to have to walk on eggshells all the time.
