Duggar's First Grandchild Will be a Girl
Categories: Celeb Kids, Celeb Parenting
The answer came to them not by ultrasound but baked into a cake created by "Cake Boss" Buddy Valastro. Josh and Anna -- who both felt they were expecting a boy -- cut into the beautiful custom-made creation holding their breath to find out if the cake would be pink or blue. Anna let out a delighted squeal when the cake revealed they were expecting a daughter.

Josh and Anna are building on at least one of the Duggar family's traditions: They're already focused on a first initial, "M." (All of the original Duggars have "J" names.) Josh teased Vieira that they might name her Meredith, the talk show host will just have to wait and see if being the Duggar's "biggest fan" pays off. But they don't plan on building another Duggar empire. "We would be happy with two or three [children]," says Josh.
As for the Duggars, they're looking forward to being grandparents. "We've been dreaming about having grandbabies," says Michelle. "We hear it's a lot easier than being a parent," says Jim. Well yes, Jim, especially when you're a parent of 18 (and counting).

I don't even want to think about a family the size of the Duggars. I like how the Father to be said 2 or 3 is enough. That sounds like a great number. I did not appreciate being pregnant two times. Could you imagine 18 times? Then there is feeding the clan. My grocery bill for 4 people is high enough for me. I could go on and on. I am glad to have my two beautiful boys.

It takes special people to raise a family that large. It can't all be done by the parents and that is where effective leadership training is evident in large families.

This family is an insult to the reproductive process. Not only that, but they are the biggest hypocrites I've ever seen. They condemn television as being "of the devil" yet they have capitalized on mainstream media. They think those of us who don't believe as they do are going to hell, yet they have no problem parading themselves around us "heathens" and receiving money from being plastered all over tv, magazines, etc. They are the epitome of everything that is wrong with religion and religious zealots. It's sickening that we as Americans have embellished them for as long as we have. Shame on us!!

They aren't "special" nor should they be admired. They're capitalistic hypocrites and they represent the textbook definition of "double standard."
