Are you kidding me! I am a mom of 4 and it sure don't work that way. I think she got pregnant in the pool.... She was having sex in it!! I am an RN. sperm dies like 30 seconds outside the warmth of the body. You actually have only 20% chance of getting pregnant. Everything has to be lined up exact with the womens body (egg release, ovulation etc) If you have sex in a spa the high heat kills the sperm, but there is a small chance of survival. Same with a pool with chloriene. As most people have been saying an OB can do a virgin check on her. Sorry people you can't get pregnant from turkey bastors, drinking sperm, or toilet seats. But you could get a nasty infection or STD from it. But remember antibiotics while on the pill can help ya get pregnant it makes the pill useless. Same as non water base lube used with some condoms, it can put microscopic holes in condoms. You can look it up online, all these facts are true. But again I feel sorry for this girl at 13 getting pregnant, that is so young.

I agree. Sprem can not live on the outside of the body. It can be killed by bleach or anything else. What happened is she did it in the pool.

Wow, Pool Sperm Baby guy. That would make sense if the sperm was CHLORINE-PROOF. The whole idea of someone being impregnated by sperm lying stagnant in chlorinated water is ridiculous, especially overnight (as the water gets cycled through filters 3-4 times).

Plus, only so much sperm comes out into HUNDREDS of gallons of water, and sperm DOES NOT swim in packs, so that lowers your chances to about, well, none.

What's the big deal? If you believe Mary was inpregnated after being showered with gold by God.....Then surely getting pregnant from a little errant pool semen is no less a miracle.....

Sounds like Mom needs to look at the men in her life if her daughter really didn't meet a boy on vacation. The denial you refer to is probably far deeper than you think - she's not stupid ... she just refuses to see.

I totally agree. This action shows the mentality of this mother. I bet she'll get quite the surprise when she finds out her innocent daughter was fooling around.

I remember when I was a Combat Controller back in the early seventies.

One of the married guys got an STD, transmitted it to his wife, and the flight surgeon, to protect his fellow Air Force friend, told the wife that it was possible to get it from a toilet seat.

Well, a month or so later I was at a squadron party and overheard this wife telling someone else this story and laughed.

When she, in defense, said that the flight surgeon had told her it was possible I replied, "sure it's possible, but it's quite uncomfortable."

Oh no! Now I'm scared I might fail my employer drug test because I am sure when I went swimming yesterday one of the pot smokers in the neighborhood pee'd in the pool.

birth control my whole life. It is probably THE best form of
birth control there is. Between the chlorine and the lower
temperature, there is zero chance of conception. For all
you women, you should also be concerned about the PH
balance of the pool. If this is perfect---then by all means,
ENJOY.

maybe she can give bearth to a swimming pool and give a dna test to the pool to see witch pool the baby belongs to

Is the mom absolutely sure her daughter is a virgin? She needs to take her to a doctor to get examined to be sure if she is a virgin or not. But my guess is, the mom has no clue what her little girl has been up to.

I remember a mom and dad bringing their little girl to a hospital emergency room where I worked 35 years ago because the little girl had a stomach ache. An x-ray was taken and it showed a very well formed fetus. The parents wouldn't believe it and when the doctor showed them the x-ray as proof they said we made the whole thing up and stormed out of the hospital. I've always wondered how long it took them to come to terms with their daughter's pregnancy.
If this girl wasn't with any other boys we need to start looking at family members.
