Problem is, it's costing him.
His legal battle with his ex seems to grow exponentially every day, which, of course, sends the media frenzy on Jon-dom into the stratosphere. We called Jon for a quick chat to catch up on how this is impacting his parenting and ended up talking about everything else.
ParentDish: So, what's going on?
Jon Gosselin: I'm just trying to be as cordial as possible. I messed up at the beginning and now I want to be a nice guy, make better decisions and do the right thing.
PD: Why? What did you do that you consider bad moves.
JG: Meeting Kate Major [former reporter for Star magazine] and Stephanie [Santoro], the nanny. Those were two things.
PD: What's with you and family friend Hailey Glassman?
JG: Me and Hailey are still together. It was hard for her in the beginning. We are going to stay together. She talks to people. She's so friendly. She just goes up to people and says, 'I love your shoes.'
PD: Are you two going to get married?
JG: We don't talk about getting married. She's seen how messy my divorce has been and she says it makes her not want to get married. She laughs about it. It's so different than it was with Kate. It's so comfortable with Hailey and her family. They are so nice. They gave Kate a free tummy tuck, worth $20 grand. I mean, hello? It's free surgery.
PD: How is Hailey adjusting?
JG: I apologized to Hailey that I shouldn't have been hanging out with anyone else. I love her to death and she could've walked away.

Kate Gosselin Plotting TV Return With Dating Show
Kate Gosselin is hoping to return to television. Gosselin, the former star of "Jon & Kate Plus 8" on TLC, has reportedly been shopping around a reality dating show but has yet to find a network for her program. Kate has said that her kids miss having a camera crew following them around, but there's no word if they would be included in this show. Patrick Jones has the story.

LOL At These Posts! said...Jon: I don't believe I've heard too much negative talk from Kate about you. It's been mostly you putting the negative talk out there about here. And please no more talk about how wonderful little Hailey is, how Hailey is your rock and your world, how Hailey manages your schedule, how Hailey cuts your steak perfectly, runs your bath, and wipes your rear end. Are you having an identity crisis and adopting Hailey's religion and lifestyle - or did you never actually have an identity of your own? I think it's the latter and you tend to latch onto strong women so you don't have do any thinking for yourself.
Not trying to be ugly but, dude, I think someone needs to call your mommy - you're either too young and immature to be left unsupervised or you might need medication!

Mary said...You said it all and are exactly right. He is only repeating the same kind of relationship with another strong woman. I guess when he had to compete with all his kids, he just didn't feel the love from his Mommy / wife anymore . She obviously expected him to grow up.

WHAT A JOKE! the only reason he's coming on the way he is now is because he's lost his role on the tv show. if he was still as involved as before and was still receiving the same amount of money he'd be promoting it on television. cheating men are such morons! EVERYTHING is someone else's fault. they never accept that their lives turning to crap is entirely their own doing. you made your bed, ahole; now lie in it!

He just wouldn't work at a job to support the family, agreed Kate should stay home with the kids to save money(she is a nurse), he lost his job trying to get free things for the family,wouldn't do laundry, clean up anything around the house, do anything with the kids unless he had a list, and when he did have time with the kids he was on his cell phone or just playing (and playing is important but helping around the house when you have 8 tiny kids is too). Now Jon is dating the daugthter of the surgeon who did Kates tummy tuck? And you think that affair started when? Maybe when they were living and Kate was recouperating at the Doctors home? More than likely. Jon is a cheating, lying ( just check back with is interviews. He conterdicts himself) poor excuse of a husband and poor excuse of a father.What can he teach his children?
