Look, you guys saying, "Well, it doesn't show more than a swimsuit." It's the material, the style... I mean, she looks like a dominatrix. One of my friends was a stripper, and she wore clothes like this. If it weren't whorish, she wouldn't have worn it. The go-go boots that go up to her knees, the patent black leather, the skirt that near shows her buttocks. She looks like a cheap hoe. I really wish people didn't find this okay. You're the ones that are sick. I live in Brooklyn and I've seen hookers who look less like harlots than she does.

Why do people feel it is OK to look whorish on Halloween? Get creative and be an individual by coming up with some cool and unusual costume. Why do all girls and women cosider it a holiday in which they can get away with wearing trampy clothes? Speak to MOST women and they will answer that YES we know we cant get away with this any other day of the year so why not tonight. An adult woman can make the decision to look whorish on Halloween, most do. On the other hand a CHILD's costume should be childish not short, tight, "sexy" and the like. I personally do not consider young girls in skimpy outfits "sexy," as they cannot be sexy at nine. Yet many pedophiles feel they are and don't assume those people hide away on Halloween. What an easy day to get some unsuspecting child to knock on your door. The nine year old is just plain wrong on the parents part. What bothers me the most is the 15 year olds who already look close to 19 dressing like a 21 yr old street walker or stripper. Then parents wonder why their girl is thinks it is OK to wear short skirts and tube tops, tons of makeup, etc on a regular day. Then the parent wonders why a 19 yr old boy wants to date their 15 yr old, probably because she looks easy and most likely is.

I nothing wrong with what she is wearing. I agree it is a night that all kids dress up as something they are not. However, I don't think that I would let me daughter wear that short of a dress. Of course I haven't see her in her outfit so I don't know what the length is yet.

I just took my 9 year old and 6 year old daughters to the Miley Cyrus concert here in KC and was APALLED!!!!

They should have called it "Miley Humps the Pole" tour. Too sexualized for her audience and her brother, the TATOO FREAK, opened the show and then found it necessary to remove his shirt to show his sleeve tatoos and upper chest coverage. NICE.

The Cyrus clan had better re-think WHAT IS INAPPROPRIATE AND WHAT IS OFFENSIVE b/c I think they have gone too Hollywood too fast.

The money my children spend on items comes from ME!!!

I will no longer purchase the Miley/Hanna Montana trinkets and I think that if this is how that family conducts itself, I would rather not have my daughter associate with them.

I could not agree more with Karen, she took the words right out of my brain. I do not see children as sexual objects, and you may not either, Elizabeth, but there are plenty of perverted individuals who do. I have a young daughter and would not let her out in public (in front of the press, no less!) dressed like a call girl. Why would a caring parent want certain people to have sexual thoughts about their child? I guarantee you there are people who see this photo and have that reaction. Of course, I don't expect my children to support me financially. I guess that's the difference between marketing your children vs. protecting and nurturing your children. I'm comfortable with my decision.

I think her costume is fine. It only shows a little bit of her legs. Not crazy about the red lipstick. Let's not forget that she's 9 and not 13. She hasn't even reached puberty yet.

What makes you think that you are any better than them? Calling names can be just as bad as someone who dresses the way they do. If everyone dressed the same or acted the same, this would be a very dull world. So why don't you take your advice and shove it!!

its fine with me. the cyrus family may be jacked up in certain ways, but this is an ok costume im my opinion. shes a little girl, so stop rippin on her because of her HALLOWEEN costume. btw i love trace cyrus :D
