Michelle Obama, A Really Close Second

Where do you fall in the priority line-up in your family? If you're like most women, you put everyone else first. Michelle Obama has a better approach; she puts herself "a really close second" after her kids.
In an interview with Katie Couric for Glamour magazine's Woman of the Year issue, the First Lady said it was much more difficult to find a work-family balance when she was a senator's wife. Now that she's in the White House, with all its accompanying staff support, life has gotten easier.
While we all can't have that 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue address, Obama encourages moms to reach out and ask for help where they can find it.

Expressing an opinion is not "hating." If someone doesn't agree with you, they are not haters. I'm amazed you didn't pull the tired old untrue "racist" card also.
I might like this couple a lot more if the lunatic liberal msm didn't shove them down our throats every single day and night. I am quite sick of both of them. I would be sick of any president and first lady if I saw them morning noon and night!

Goodness yes! President Obama's got it right on target. Mom's should be encouraged more to ask for help. Seems like Mrs. Obama's got the right priorities as well.

I'm not a huge Obama fan but I agree with Mrs. Obama. I think that it is important as moms to not put ourselves completely last all the time. Making time for yourself is important.
