Chance's 9-year-old brother Cannon King will appear on the show from time to time, reports TMZ.
Chance and Cannon are the offspring of Larry and Shawn King. Larry is 76 years old. Shawn is 50, and is Larry's seventh wife. As far as we know, this is Chance's first television job. We hear that Larry didn't get his first broadcasting gig until 1957, when he was 24. That's two years before his current wife was born, by the way.
TMZ says that "Kid Pitch" is scheduled to begin taping in February of 2010.

Thanks for the warning.. although the kid couldn't
possibly be as brain-dead as his irrelevant old man..

Yeah, im sure the kid got the job because he's the most talented kid for the position. I mean, if 1000 kids applied for this position , Larry Kings son would have got the job hands down because of his talent not because he's Larry King's son! Right................

So sick of these celebrities, pimping their no-talent kids. One would have hoped it stopped at Miley Cyrus and her do-nothing, no talent father.

I am so tired of these celebrities getting their children on shows or getting shows of their own. It is distressing to some tallented children that never get a chance because a celebrity's child is sure to get it.

I am sorry I am not trying to be ugly but if it was a poor kid off the streets he or she would not get the show. The only reason he got the show his dad is rich and famous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're absolutely correct. It's all in WHO YOU KNOW. I have a 26 yr old son who just graduated w/a BA in Sports Broadcasting from CSUN. with all the resumes he's sent out and can't get in the door.
He has an awesome personality, quick witted, funny and a loving son. He'd start at the bottom just to get in the door. He worked to put himself thru college so couldn't take a non paying internship, otherwise how could he live. I've been a single Mom, helping him with all that I could. I'm 65 and on Social Security. We don't know the RIGHT PEOPLE. He's been working in an after school program for kids, helping guide them in any way he can. Counseling, homework, tutoring. He's a great young man....

I know very little about sports, but the kid looks cute. Give him a chance. He looks like an outgoing impressionable young boy and with his winning smile I think he will be ok. And toppscard and Brenda and the few who think only rich kids get ahead, welcome to the real world guys. Of course they do. Their kids are going to better schools and make it because they have the money to hire Tutors constantly. Their parents are in the right circles to get their kid ahead. And their parents have the money and pull to do it. I would say 85 % of all jobs go to relatives or people who already work there. I know all my jobs were gotten cause I had family already working there. And they keep their kids dressed in high style as in what not to love. For instance that little doll Seri Cruise do you think the normal public keep their kids looking and dressed as cute as her. And most kids follow their parents (lawyers, doctors or acting etc) cause their raised up with it, and their family eat sleeps and talks their profession, so the kids have a big step in the job before they even enter a college.

Lord preserve us from idiots, past, present and future!
I lived on Miami Beach when LkL sneaked out of town one dark night, the Sherrif hot on his tail trying to collect for his creditors. The man is, was, and always has been a fraud and now he is setting up the brat to follow the same path.
