Rocker dads seemed to share their wardrobes with their fashion-forward sons. Diva moms sizzled while their children looked sweet and stylish. And Jermaine Jackson? Well, his family worked the red carpet in everything from a conservative suit to ripped rock star-worthy jeans.

The American Music Awards celebrate the year's best singers and songs, but they also give us a chance to spot fashion's high notes. Here are five families making beautiful music -- and style -- together.

"American Idol" alum Chris Daughtry's style seems to have rubbed off on his son, Griffin, 9. The two walked the red carpet at the 2009 American Music Awards in matching black getups that would have made Johnny Cash proud: black leather jacket with a sparkle-embellished black shirt for dad; black shirt, vest and loose tie for son. The family that rocks together stays together.

Michael's brother brought his stylish brood the American Music Awards, where he accepted an award on behalf of his brother. Jackson's family covers rock 'n' roll ABCs when it comes to their red carpet style: Their looks range from a classic suit on the youngest Jackson to ripped rocker jeans to dresses with a little edge to Dad's satin suit.

Toni Braxton loves herself a slit-up-to-there, peek-a-boo dress, and she can still rock it. The sexy singing mama always knows an adorable date scores red carpet points. Check out her son, Denim, almost 8, looking casually cool in a blazer and tie with his untucked shirt and baseball cap.
