Baby Wigs: Disturbing Trend?

Only a mother with a mental problem would ever put a wig on her babys' head. Thye are supposed to be bald right now. The mother is vain and needs to go talk to a psychiatrist. She's a baby let her be a baby. I think this is a job for CPS because this is certainly child abuse to put chemicals on a baby's head.

This is rediculous. The baby will pull it off and chew on it much to her detriment. For Gods' sake. Let the baby be a baby not your personal toy. She is a living breathing human person, not a doll for mom to play with. Instead of making TV appearances the mother should be under mental evaluation in a psychiatric clinc somewhere.

That is insane, embarassed by a bald baby??? I am always interested by how other people think. I go to the truuconfessions site a lot because like this it is an interesting insight into people. I noticed that the parent was "unnamed", no wonder. I wouldn't admit to that either.

This is disturbing that mothers want to beautify their infants.
What if they have crooked toes, bowlegs, etc., is this too,
going to be traumatic for the mommy.
Every baby and child is beautiful, hair or no hair.
My granddaughter was called a boy even when she had on
pink lacy dresses, so what?
My grandson is continually called a girl because of his beautiful
curly hair, so what?
Are you getting your infant face lifts or botox if you don't like the
way they look. This is insane.
I feel sorry for these children that have such egotistical mothers.
Does this not border on child abuse??

My daughter was bald until she was about one. I LOVED her bald, downy little head! I NEVER wished she had more hair. I didn't put headbands on her or pierce her ears. In fact, I never even put her in dresses because she just wasn't comfortable in them. Most people could tell she was a girl right away, but there were times when people called her a boy. I didn't care. I didn't even correct them; I felt no need to embarrass them over it. I would just refer to her as "she" or "her" so that they would realize their mistake. Anyone who is so vain that they would put a wig on their baby has lost sight of what it means to be a parent.

Mmm gender stereotypes... this is why they still exist. I'm pretty sure the babies don't care if they're bald. I'm pretty sure the babies don't care if they're perceived as a girl, a boy, or anything else. Besides, parents work so hard to shape their child, and when their child doesn't meet their expectations in life, it can get so very nasty. Sad, is what I think.
