Causing a commotion: Leave it to Madonna to steal the red carpet glory from the likes of Nicole Kidman, Fergie and Kate Hudson. When the ultimate Material Girl showed up with daughter, Lourdes Leon, 13, at the New York screening of the movie-musical "Nine," we were crazy for their Dolce & Gabbana ensembles.

Both clad in black -- a to-the-knee bustier dress with arm warmers for the hot mama; a leather jacket with a lace and straw skirt for the cute daughter -- we love how the pair got into the fashion groove by dressing similarly, but not all matchy-matchy.

Oh, and check out their footwear: Madge in sky-high platform pumps and Lourdes in motorcycle boots? That's how you express yourself.
