Looks like Kourtney Kardashian already has some mother's intuition! Just two days before giving birth to son Mason Dash Disick on Dec. 14, Kourtney attended her pal Jillian Barberie Reynolds' baby shower. There, she told Life & Style, "I'm really excited but just really ready. I feel ready."
And ready she was. With her longtime boyfriend, Scott Disick, by her side, Kourtney, 30, gave birth to their 7-pound, 6-ounce son after going into labor the night before. "Baby Mason is just so beautiful," new mom Kourtney gushed to Life & Style later that day. "Scott and I are so happy!"
Though Mason patiently waited until after the season four premiere of the family's E! show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians -- which pulled the network's highest ratings ever -- he still arrived ahead of Kourtney's Dec. 23 due date. But it wasn't exactly a shock. "The doctor even said she'll probably be like two weeks early because she's so petite and she's so big already," Kourt's sister Khloé had told Life & Style.
Bonding time
Kourtney has relied on her family for support throughout her pregnancy, but now she's focused on spending one-on-one time with Mason. "I've heard that those few hours right after are really important for bonding," Kourtney says. "So I'm definitely not going to let the baby out of my sight. I'm not going to let him go."
But no one sounded more excited than Kourtney's mom, Kris Jenner, who as a first-time grandma wants to be called KJ. "What an incredible experience to watch my grandchild being born," Kris -- who was there with Scott in the delivery room -- tells Life & Style. "Dr. Paul Crane, who delivered all six of my children, delivered Mason. It's so surreal. Amazing. He is beautiful. He looks just like his mom."
And the new arrival is sure to be the honored guest at the Kardashian Christmas Eve party -- with his aunts fawning over the addition of a boy to the largely female family. "He's the cutest little baby," Kim (who popped in and out of the delivery room with Khloé) tells Life & Style. "We've anxiously waited for this day to come. I can't wait to babysit!"

mls said...I love how ALL CELEBRITIES go into labor early. More like, scheduled C-section or induction before they get too puffy in last trimester. MOST women who are having their first child go wayyyyy past their due date. The media and celebrities are the downfall of society for young women, its disturbing.

Kira said...Not true. Most women do not go past their due date. While yes some do most babies are born at 39 weeks. MY son was born at 37 weeks EXACTLY and I was not induced nor did I have a c-section. It was all natural all the way. Now all celebs opt for induction either. Get your facts straight before spewing ignorance.

Jamie......We have a right to comment on ANY individual in the public eye that is a negative influence on our young people.
Cheetah Woods is another prime example of negative influence.

If I were Khloe, I would have deck Kris and told her to stay away from me forever. That was so immature and insensitive of Kris to do that to Khloe. Watch out Kourtney, your mom will think Mason is HER baby!!! With the family he was born into, I can only pray for this little boy. Scott and Kourtney,,,,lock your house doors and don't let your family inside.

With all the idiot mothers who neglect their children these days, I'd take the 'meddling' Kris Jenner any day of the week! She LOVES her kids even if she is a bit controlling. She knows her kids have a tendency to act first and think later so she jumps in to save them from themselves...With the K sisters track records, You can see why it's needed. Get off the age thing with her...She is a gorgeous woman and this is AFTER six kids!
