In one of Life's photos of the year, a five-months-pregnant Kendra Kaplan clutches the ultrasound results at the arrival ceremony of her husband, Staff Sgt. Joshua Kaplan, who was deployed in Iraq. She brought the results so that they could find out the baby's gender together (it's a boy!). The couple's three-year-old son, Ayden Kaplan, spots his dad in the crowd.
