Famous for: Acting, Singing

Birthdate: August 20, 1992

Demi Lovato first entered the public eye as one of the overly enthusiastic, singing and dancing children on "Barney & Friends." She has since gained fame singing, dancing and acting. Lovato cemented her position as one of Disney's top teens with her starring role in the 2008 TV movie "Camp Rock," opposite Joe Jonas. She currently holds the title role in Disney Channel's sitcom, "Sonny with a Chance" -- a sort of adolescent "30 Rock" about the behind-the-scenes shenanigans at a live sketch-comedy show. "Sonny with a Chance" began filming its second season in November 2009.

Lovato has also dominated the Billboard music charts with her back-to-back albums "Don't Forget" and "Here We Go Again." Lovato's music has more of an edge than that of many of her Disney Channel compatriots, perhaps due to her professed love of heavy metal. With a career that is definitely on the rise, Lovato could soon eclipse a certain paramour of Ashton Kutcher as Hollywood's most famous Demi.
