Before there was the international mega-group, the Jonas Brothers, there was just little Nick Jonas performing onBroadway. Before he probably even knew his multiplication tables, Nick was seen on the Great White Way in hit shows like "Beauty and the Beast", "Annie Get Your Gun" and "Les Miserables."

Columbia Records took notice after Nick co-wrote and recorded a song, "Joy to the World (A Christmas Prayer)" for the benefit album, "Broadway's Greatest Gifts: Carols for a Cure, Vol. 4" (which benefits Broadway's "Equity Fights AIDS" charity), and he was set to release a solo album in 2005. One song, written and performed by all three brothers, however, made the record execs change their mind, and the Jonas Brothers were born.

The New Jersey trio has been ubiquitous ever since. Four hit albums -- "It's About Time" (2006), "Jonas Brothers" (2007), "A Little Bit Longer" (2008) and "Lines, Vines and Trying Times" (2009) -- gave birth to numerous hit singles, including "Hold On," "S.O.S.," "A Little Bit Longer," "Burnin' Up," and "Fly with Me." The latter three records were all released by Disney's juggernaut record label, Hollywood Records. And the Jonas boys have much to thank Disney for, as their starring roles (led by Joe) in the Disney Channel Original Movie "Camp Rock," opposite Demi Lovato, was a huge boost to their celebrity status. The "Camp Rock" soundtrack itself was a huge smash.

The Jonas Brothers have toured relentlessly, first as opening act for the likes of Miley Cyrus and Avril Lavigne, then as headliners. And they even saw the theatrical release of "Jonas Brothers: The 3-D Concert Experience," a movie that is exactly what it sounds like. "Camp Rock 2," a surefire hit, is due on Disney Channel in 2010. In the meantime, the boys currently star in their own regular Disney Channel sitcom, "JONAS." In the show, Joe, Kevin and Nick Jonas play three brothers named Joe, Kevin and Nick Lucas who happen to play in a band called JONAS.
