I agree. The doctor was negligent and should have his license revoked.

Instead of losing his license.
He should be required to pay for raising all of this women's children until they are out of college!
That is a far better punishment, instead of sticking us tax payers with their stupidity.

He should have to pay for what he helped create. What an arrogant man, thought he could do his little science experiment at the California tax payer's expense. If that is what it comes down to HE should have to pitch in for what he is responsible for. Maybe next time these Drs who just want to make a name for themselves will think twice.

I think both the doctor's mother and Octomom's mother ought to be charged with negligence for giving birth to these two selfish and ignorant people

Not only should he loose his license....he should be forced to support the children financial until they are 18.....and those with medical issues past the age of 18.

Kermit: You're so obviously missing the point in all of this. This doctor negligently implanted these embryos into a single, unwed, unemployed and obvious NUT JOB. This isn't about someone telling you how many kids you can have.......go out and screw like a bitch in heat all you want, get knocked up all you want, but...........you'd better be employed and/or be able to provide for them financially, and this does NOT include raising them all at our expense, via WELFARE! Why should WE have to foot the medical bills for both of these morons' willful negligence and SELFISHNESS? Medicaid (Medi-Cal, Whatever) may not pay for infertility treatments, but they'll surely pay for the ongoing health care needs of these children, and WE will ALL foot the bill. That is an OUTRAGE. If you want an orphanage-size family, go right on ahead, toots........but don't you DARE expect the taxpayers to pay for ANY of their health care; you'd better be very wealthy or have a damned good paying job, NOT food stamps and welfare as your support system. And you surely should be living independently, NOT still living with your mother!! What a selfish, stupid NUT JOB! The mere sight of her makes me ILL. And the "doctor" needs to be stripped of his license permanently.

They are not saying that the doctor can regulate how many children a woman has they are saying that there are guidelines and regulations that a dr must follow and this quack clearly did not follow them therefore, he needs to have his license to practice pulled. Obviously, this is not his first case of negligence. He is what one calls A REPEAT OFFENDER!!!!! I feel there should be consequences for Octomom as well. She needs to start paying back her government for abusing tax payers monies and the government should be shot for letting her get away with it.
