Watch how your little one gets around these days. There have been numerous stroller recalls lately, and here's one more to note: The Consumer Product Safety Commission, Health Canada and Regal Lager Inc. have announced a voluntary recall of CYBEX strollers.

The stroller's hinge mechanism poses a fingertip amputation and laceration hazard to the child when the consumer is unfolding or opening the stroller. There has been one report of a child placing his finger in the hinge, resulting in finger fracture.

The recall includes Ruby, Onyx and Topaz models of CYBEX umbrella strollers. (The word "CYBEX" is printed on the side of the recalled stroller.) Parents should stop using the stroller immediately and contact the company for a free hing cover retrofit kit. Do so by calling 800-593-5522 between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on weekdays or visit the Web site at regallager.com.
