When Scott Lee Cohen dropped out of the Illinois lieutenant governor race on Super Bowl Sunday, he cried at his press conference. So did his 11-year-old son. On camera.

Cohen, the Democratic candidate who owns a pawnshop in Chicago, withdrew amid allegations of domestic abuse by a girlfriend (who is a former prostitute), steroid abuse and "forcing himself on his ex-wife," according to the Chicago Sun-Times. Allegedly.

Here is a video of the emotional press conference at Chicago's Hop Haus tavern. The boy on the left is his 11-year-old son, Jacob, one of Cohen's four children.

Cohen beat out five other candidates in last week's Democratic primary, but dropped out after numerous Chicago politicians asked him to step down. Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan says Cohen's "extreme character flaws are an insult to the people of Illinois," according to the Chicago Tribune. (Keep in mind this is the state where Rod Blagojevich was governor.)

Cohen's Facebook page features some entertaining messages on his "Wall," including some from folks who appear to still support him: "Scott, this f------ shit.. we the people voted for u. The Govenor can kiss my A______. i do not want to go there but i did." (Comment posted verbatim, creative spelling and all.)

As of this report, the candidate has not updated his Web site, which still includes the following quote: "I have no intention of stepping down or stepping aside."

Also, read his lips, no new taxes. And he did not have sex with that woman.
