Presto-change-o! Former reality-TV mom of many Kate Gosselin has chopped off her $7,000 hair extensions, US Weekly reports.
Gosselin is most recently famous for her rancorous split from hubby Jon Gosselin, which officially brought about the demise of the pair's TLC series "Jon and Kate Plus 8," a show that detailed the couple's struggles raising twins and sextuplets. She was also well-known -- and roundly mocked in the media -- for her signature short-and-spiky hair style.
Just like lots of other women, Gosselin changed her look -- with the help of a 20-hour makeover -- as soon as the ink on her divorce decree was dry. But, apparently, she wasn't thrilled with her new 'do.
"She thinks her hair looks overprocessed and damaged," an unnamed source tells the magazine. "She's afraid people will think she's one of Tiger Woods' bimbos!"
The 34-year-old newly single mama debuted her current look while out clubbing last week in New York City, Us Weekly reports. She's gone from spiked-out reverse mullet to long and flowing blond extensions to a shoulder-length style with bangs.
She's slated to appear on ABC's "The View" as a guest host on March 11, according to ETOnline. We wonder what look she'll be sporting by then.

ann said...Regarding her extensions- she didn't "chop them off"... they are STILL there, just shorter. Other than her ridiculous, cheap, seasonally- inappropriate outfit, Kate looked nice in these pix.
No one will mistake her for one of Tiger's women with longer extensions... she is just flattering herself. We all know she would be the first to announce it if they had had a relationship.

Jean Solheim said...Kate complains about no money and then chops off $7,000. dolllars worth of extensions? She should start being a mother, stop clubbing and spending money. The new looks are cheap looking, the face has changed from the start of the show when she was actually cute - now she DOES look like a bimbo. The long nails are also an expense she could do without. I WON'T watch "The View" when she's on - the crying and pity that she aims for is lost on me - STAY HOME Kate and tend to the children you claim to love so much - I, for one, never saw that in her.

She should have paid DWTS just to have her on the show...
SHE SUCKED... My dogs dance better than she did... I finally had to turn off the darn TV just not to see her...
