Lance Armstrong Announces on Twitter He's Going to Be a Dad Again

Armstrong announced via Twitter on Friday that his girlfriend Anna Hansen is expecting his fifth child in October. He's even set up a separate Twitter account under Cincoarmstrong.
The 38-year-old cycling great has hinted at the new arrival since last week. The first Cincoarmstrong tweet was April 20. It said, "I got 2 arms, 2 legs, a nickname, and i'm 2 inches long. See y'all in October."
Armstrong has three children with his ex-wife Kristin. He and Hansen had their first child together, son Max, in June 2009.

Lance Armstrong has stepped down as a board member of Livestrong, the cancer-support charity he founded in 1997, the organization said Monday (November 12) .

LOL said...Wow how much sperm did he bank? I heard long ago that he was sterile after the cancer treatment. He doesnot strike me as the sort that would use donated sperm...the girlfriend...who knows. She had best take care as he did walk out of the first wife and kids, the wife that was with him thru thick and thin in the cancer treatment days.

Val said...Well there was Sheryl Crowe in between the wife and this girlfriend. I believe Cheryl wanted to have kids but Lance didn't want anymore. Having the first one with this new girlfriend must have stung poor Sheryl - hope she's over that now. She adopted an adorable little boy and appears very happy.
I'm not sure I'd trust Lance to stick around though. He had plenty of time to marry this mother of his kids and still hasn't.

My oldest son had it and now after 20yrs is still alive and kicking enjoying himself with wife and kids.

halfmoon said...I much would have preferred they adopt a parentless child then bring another kid into the world. The same old story repeated to often, another baby born out of wedlock.
We don't like it, but it is what it is and he/she will have difficult explaining to do for the rest of their life. When Lance finds another dingbat to hook up with, this child will be fatherless and will feel the hurt of abandonment.
Lance and Mathew Conagahey played the Hollywood bed set too long..Lance just can't get enough before his fame wears off..

They are married, have 3 kids, then leave the mother of those kids, then have a long term relationship, has a new girl friend, has two kids out of wedlock? Setting a role model? Really? Who is your father? Well, he is/was Lance Armstrong, but he really didn't think enough of my mother to make it legal. Wow. And on we go.

If some unknown (to you) cyclist has 5 kids with 2 different women, you wouldn't have anything to say. (unless it was about overpopulation, for which a valid argument can be made to Lance) Fame has its price. I'm not sure I'm a fan of Lance's personal life, but truly it's none of my business, or yours. I do agree he wasn't "strong enough to be Sheryl's man" but he's put cycling on the map and so many of us riders are grateful to him for that. Focus on your own life. Let Lance focus on his.
