How to Play: Dodgeball

What you need: Two equally numbered teams of at least four people and an 8 1/2-inch or 14-inch diameter playground ball. You also need a court with a circle painted or drawn to establish boundaries.

How to play: One team is inside the circle, and the other team is scattered around the outside of the circle. The team outside of the circle throws the ball at the team inside the circle, trying to hit players with the ball. The team inside the circle can move around, but only within the circle. If someone is hit, that person joins the opposing team.

The rules: A good rule to follow in this game is no hitting above the waist with the ball. If someone hits a player above the waist, the thrower must stop playing the game.

How to win: Be the last person standing inside the circle.

What else you need to know: This game has the possibility of becoming rough, so an adult supervisor is recommended.
