Links We Love: Mixed Bag Edition

Filed under: In The News, Funny Stuff, New In Pop Culture

It was a busy week in the blogosphere, folks, with Jillian Michaels clarifying her statements on
pregnancy and a woman's body and the dance troupe of scantily clad little girls shaking it to "Single Ladies." But there was plenty of other good stuff out there to read, so we sorted through all the noise to bring you our picks for the week.

Our friends at Babble compiled a great, comprehensive list of the 50 best -- and worst -- celebrity authors who are also moms. Pamela Anderson? Molly Ringwald? Whoopi Goldberg? All on the list. If you want to see who else made the cut you'll just have to clickety-click on over. You might just be surprised who's listed -- and who's not!

Speaking of moms who write, have you heard that mommybloggers are selling their souls for free yogurt and coffeemakers? So says blogger Liz Gumbinner, author of the popular mom blog, "Mom 101." Gumbinner takes big brands to task for treating moms who blog like a free marketing department. Don't sell yourself short, Gumbinner says. She's kicking up a lot of dust in the momosphere with her commentary, so go on over and see what all the fuss is about.

We tip our hats to any mom who can multi-task well enough to blog with a baby in the house. It's hard to get anything done when you're the CEO, the chef and the chauffeur, and that's why we do a lot of stuff at the very last minute. Over at Hybrid Mom, Elizabeth Gordineer reveals that make-up, shaving and cleaning her house get done just in the nick of time. What are your last-minute secrets? Go over there and share.

We like to share here at ParentDish, so feel free to leave a link to your favorite new blog post.
