Kids Stumble Upon Human Remains In Wooded Area
Authorities say two children stumbled on what appeared to be skeletal human remains in west suburban Woodridge, Saturday afternoon.
Investigators spent the weekend collecting evidence in a wooded area near Richfield Court and Dunham Road.
“At this time, the remains have not been identified as male or female and the age and cause of death is undetermined,” according to a statement released by the Village of Woodridge.
The remains have been turned over to the Dupage County Coroner for analysis.
