The weather outside is gorgeous, friends, but that doesn't mean you should abandon your online haunts. We know you want to be outside when the sun is shining -- especially after a long winter and a chilly spring -- but there's plenty of great stuff to read this week.

Are you in the thick of potty training? How about weaning your kid from the breast or bottle? It sometimes feels like your child will get married wearing a diaper, but never fear -- eventually they meet their milestones. Our pals at LilSugar are asking at what age exactly should you tackle these parenting tasks.

Be sure to check out this amazing post from Ellen Seidman over at Babble, where she talks about what not to say to parents of kids with special needs: No. 1, I'm sorry. No. 3, I don't know how you do it. You get the idea. We love Ellen, and her blog, Love That Max, is a terrific resource for every parent, not just those whose children have special needs.

And now for something completely different: Who says good-looking people get all the breaks? One pretty single mom alleges that she was fired for being a hottie. Over at The Stir, moms are debating if she's lying or not.

Has your kid ever had a mortifying meltdown? You're not alone. Babble talks to 9 celebs -- including Sherri Shepherd, Rebecca Romijn, and Trista Sutter -- to find out how they deal with those oh-so-embarrassing public tantrums. Their answers will surprise you!

There you have it, some hot summer reads to cool you off. Got a story you think we should share? Give us a shout in the comments.
