Ooh la la! Straight from France, the Beaba Babycook baby food maker makes it easy for any mama or papa to whip up fresh, healthy gourmet cuisine for their little bébé.
Babycook is a steamer, blender, warmer and defroster in one compact appliance -- so you can quickly steam veggies, fruits, meats and fish in 15 minutes or less, while preserving vitamins and flavors.
After steaming, Babycook can puree and blend food to a consistency that's just right for your little one -- whether it's super smooth, chunky or anywhere in between. The Babycook also defrosts or reheats meals, so you can prepare and store meals several days in advance.
Available at Giggle for $149.

Dare said...I bought this for making food for our daughter. It's a bit pricey but it definitely does the job and organic home made baby food will always be better than what you buy in the jars.

Heidi said...It's definitely pricey and seems to be mostly just another unnecessary gimmick to get people to spend too much money. I pureed food for my babies using a simple food processor. That way, they ate what the rest of the family was having and it didn't involve much work or extra appliances. That being said, I agree with Dare. Homemade baby food is simple to make and probably healthier than too much of that stuff in jars. I guess if buying this gadget gets more parents to feed fresh food to babies then it can't be all bad.
