Bluewater Productions released "Fame: Kristen Stewart," a comic book-styled biography, and, faster than a vampire can streak through the forest, all 10,000 copies sold out in one day. Or maybe it sold out so fast because it's combined with the Robert Pattinson story.
Kristen Stewart, who is best known as angsty girlfriend-of-vampire Bella Swan in the "Twilight" saga, has appeared in dozens of titles in the last decade and "Fame" writer Kim Sherman wanted to highlight her career thus far.
"For Twilight fans, Kristen Stewart is a woman whom fans long to be and love to hate," Sherman says in a press release. "But Kristen has been in the public eye for years, and her career as a serious actor spans dozens of films over a 10-year period of time. My goal with this biography was to show readers the depth residing in this young woman and the roles she's beautifully tackled through a series of spot shots, pinups and word art."
Larger versions of the flip books, Fame: Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson are available for pre-order on Amazon. Other editions follow the lives of celebs like Lady Gaga

But when you see two, or three .... she is the same person in each. The same expressions. Her repertoire is non-existent. For me, a good actor is someone who, in every movie they are in, is completely different. They are not the actor, they are the character. That is what makes Pacino so great. He's a different person in every film - he is not Pacino, he is the character, with expressions and nuances that I've never seen in other films. When you look at an actor in a role, you shouldn't see the actor, you should see the character. For most actors today, you will not see anything but another film starring this or that actor. There is no character. The only difference you get coming out of the actor is the script they're reading from. Renee Zelwegger, Gwyneth Paltrow - Al Pacino - these are actors. Kristen Stewart is just a chick who got lucky. Very, very lucky. Did you see The Runaways? I had their first album. They should have cast Dakota Fanning as Joan Jett and they'd have had a better film - Stewart should have been someone else in that film, but not Jett. That's where that filmed failed. Personally, I can't stand Dakota Fanning - but as an actress, she is superb.

I was a fan of the Runaways way back when. Although I was dissapointed in the movie, the one thing I did like about the movie was Kristen Stewart as Joan Jett. I thought she was dead on with Joan's persona. Joan and Kristen have the same type of personality so Kristen did well in the part not for her acting ability but for the fact she was still being her usual self...so to speak.

Writting seems to be an added extra along with her fine acting and I hope she decides to keep writting and acting during her career. You never know, since she has skills in both acting and writing there is a possibility as she walks this path she is now on eventually she may end up writing her own movie to star in, direct and produce like many of our modern day legends have done, like Robert Redford for example.
Keep putting out the movies Kristen and I'll keep on watching them.

Kevin Brown said...You are actually suggusting that she is some kind of young Robert Redford? The women can't act her way out of a wet paper bag. Redford wasn't some good-looking kid who got lucky, he could act, and grew into a great director and producer. Stewart is the latest twinkie of the week and will go away when these idiot Tweeny-bobber Twilight films have run their course, which will of course be when the 13 year-olds find something else to waste their time and money on.

I admit, I didn't really give it much attention -- even though I heard many people talking about it -- until earlier this year when the cast of Eclipse appeared on Oprah. So, it took me a couple of years to get into it but I quickly rented Twilight and then New Moon and I am hooked. I am going to read the books now. I like Kristen Stewart and have seen some of her other movies. Yes, she does appear to be perpetually cast in roles in which she's a bit angst, dark, or seemly quiet and/or depressed. But, I think she has some acting abilities. I think Robert Pattison is excellent in his role as Edward. It has some value as a series other than being something to fill up teenagers time -- it offers entertainment and a continuation and seemingly an evolution (if possible and I guess anything is possible in fiction) of vampires. It's like a continuation of the Vampire Chronicles. I love that because I am a big fan of Interview With the Vampire. It answers the question Louis asked when he said "This can't be all there is for us."
