I´m so happy I´ve escaped this horrible mutilation and do feel deep sympathy for those males who regret having it done on them, so cowardly as it always is when done to babies or boys ,ie, when they can´t speak out or choose for themselves.

Most all infections are iatrogenic. Doctors are not taught about the foreskin. Many medical books show's the man's penis as circumcised. Most all infections are caused using soap in the foreskin unbalancing the natural pH. bubble bath is the worst, and by medical staff prematurely retracting the foreskin. Just how does this apply to when circumcision started in the US. The fathers were mostly intact until the '40's. Sons are not going to notice if father has skin. Son's will notice that father's is bigger. One could equally say fathers should restore their foreskin to look like their son. Actually that would be better for dad AND mom.

It is definantly a great Idea to have your baby circumsized. not only is it better for them and reduces the cause of getting infection or diseases...it would be insane not too...I guess there are people out there that are not but my expieriences and knowlege of people I know..its better to not remember then to have something go wrong "downstairs" and have it done later as an adult! A little Snip Snip and your good to go.

wow @ kandi. That little snip snip, should eventually grow into 15 square inches of pleasurable skin that has a function, and a purpose. It was put there for a reason. If it wasnt supposed to be there why not just be born like that. By your post i take you have never had sex with a intact man, and let me tell you. Your missing out!!!! I have had sex with both, and it is un comparable! Sex with a intact man feels exactly how it should, and is amazing!!! Also no health organizations even recommend it done. With proper hygiene, and care it is easily maintainable. Would you cut off your clitoris and clitoral hood, just so it was easier to clean?? i didnt think so. So why do it to your baby boy. It is a unnecessary body modification! Let his penis be how it was intended to be!!!

my son was circumcised and my husband as well. Its a choice of the parents. People say that you can teach your child proper hygiene and they won't have any problems. WRONG! As a toddler they squirm all over the place when your trying to clean them and if you dont pull the forskin back all the way it can get infected if any bacteria is left behind. Also, when they are older and not able to care for themselves they can get infections due to incontinence. I know I work in a nursing home and a few of our male residents (not circumsized) the foreskin you can't even pull back. Which in turn they are now susceptible to all kinds of infections. People need to look at things in the long term.

This is dumb, every boy in my family and my husband family is NOT circumcised and they are all fine and have never had a problem. In my opinion if the dad isn't then the son shouldn't be either. Just imagine a child learning to pee like daddy and daddy pulls his skin back and the son is circumcised and he does the same and hurts himself because he has no extra skin. Plus the extra skin doesn't need to be pulled back until about age 10 (that's what the doctors told me) plus we wash our kids until about age 6 and after that we can teach them how to properly wash their area, same for a girl. Other countries circumcise women we sure in the hell don't do that so why do it to a boy? So Dumb, again if daddy isn't circumcised then DON'T do it to your child either no point!!

He was talking to Abraham and he said only in his generation!! SOOOOO there you have it only in Abrahams generation and only children he brings into his home!!

1 gender of a species of the entire animal kingdom does not have a birth defect called the foreskin. The foreskin is not a birth defect. It is a wonderful thing and the fact that we have to weigh benefits v. cons shows circumcision is wrong. If there was nothing wrong with it why dispute it?
