What you need: You need balloons.
How to play: Establish a starting line and a finish line. Divide the kids up into pairs, and give each pair a partially inflated balloon.
The rules: At the starting signal, pairs must race to the finish line holding the balloon between their heads. They cannot use their hands unless the balloon falls and they need to pick it up. If their balloon does fall, they must go back to the starting line and start over.
How to win: The first pair to cross the finish line is the winner.
What else you need to know: Water balloons are fun to use instead of the partially inflated ones on a hot day.

Tony for Arizona Air Boutique said...I like the water-filled balloon idea to make it more challenging. Or, you could add some whip cream (can) to the balloons in addition to water ... this way you'll increase the 'eww' factor.
