Texas Woman's Ex-Spouse, Son Emerge After 17 Years

HOUSTON (AP) - A Dallas-area woman's ex-husband who fled in 1993 with their toddler has surrendered in Houston with the couple's now-20-year-old son.
An attorney for Stephen Palacios Jr. of Waco contacted federal authorities Thursday so his client could turn himself in at the lawyer's office. Palacios was held Friday on charges of interference with child custody. His attorney did not immediately return a call Friday.
Dee Ann Adams says she was awarded primary custody of their son when the couple divorced. She has since remarried.
Details on where her ex-husband and child have been, plus plans for the woman to reunite with her son, were not released.
Adams says authorities told her that her son saw an Aug. 29 Waco Tribune-Herald story about his disappearance and insisted that his father turn them in.

A gruesome discovery in the Bronx on Wednesday as the bod of a 34-year-old woman was found in the dumpster. Police believe her 16-year-old son killed the woman, wrapped the body in a plastic tarp, and dragged her to the trash. A trail of blood lead straight to the family's apartment.

PAT said...The way courts work these days when I got divorced I went from seeing my child from 30 days a month to 4. I coached my daughters in basketball, soccer and softball before I got divorced. I was lucky that the guy my x-wife ended up marrying wanted mom but not the kids so I got the two a lot more most months. On months that she was going to make me only have them the 4 days ny daughters told me ahead of time that they were going to act up and she would tell them to call their dad up if aand see if they could come over and I always took then.We don't here the full story whe

I myself have been divorced for 10 years and the wholer than thou mom kept my boys from me for 10 years and when I found my son on facebook she has him put in jail I fear for my life BS all woman use that love the system. I then spoke with my middle son whom I found out was being abused for years not only mommy and her father. But once reported to CPS they look the other way thats why fathers run with the kids its the system. Ive written a book about this look it up STUPID GUY IN THE MIDWEST find info on it on facebook!
