I agree.. did the step daughter get put in handcuffs? Will she get arrested for unlawful sexual intercourse?

both teens ended up criminally cited by police for having underage sex.

apparetly the cop took his step daughter on a make believe ride to juvenal hall. this is way out of hand, any one person would know if you are personally involved with the case you are excluded from doing such actions, especially in uniform. as a person without the uniform he could have went to the family and asked for help or he could have called the police keeping himself neutral. yes way out of line.

Thats the problem with todays society now the cop is the bad guy. The parents should be thanking him for what he did. Obviously they have no integrity, and their kid will continue down the wrong road because the parents dont even know what he did was wrong. The actions of the cop were justified and if you ask me he got off easy with just a scare.

I agree with the Cop , since the parents ddin't seem to be concerned hes having sex. Both will get prosecuted and it will go on their record, but afterr they turn 18 it gets dropped off their record, since they will be adults then. The parents of the boy looks like they wanted to be on camara to video tape this or why else let him into their home, he had no warrant. So I think their just looking for some fame and get some money. I would feel gratefull the Officer put a scare into my son or daughter, becuase the parents aren't doing anything, they just look like they wanted a grand- daughter to take care of and get more Gov. money and free health care. I'm just saying , you never know. Becuase they didn't seem upset that their son was having sex at 15 years old, I'm sure if he talk to the boy like that the girl was 2-3 times harder on and got even a grounding or something punishable , instead of the boys parents giving him a slap on the back from his parents for a good job, we migh get some money out of this. This is the differnence between now and then. Back then, if a cop caught you doing something wrong, they'd give you a swift kick in the butt and take you home to your parents who would shake the officers hand and promptly give you anoher kick in the butt. Kids were afraid of being caught thus you had less juvenile crime. Today if that was done, the parents would say "now now, that ok. We're going to get a lawyer and sue the police". And we wonder why we have so many Lindsay Lohan's in this country?

Furthermore they should SUE! Neither of these teenagers should be arrested since we live in a society where teens can go get the condoms from school and have abortions without telling their parents.. All CIVIL SERVICEMEN should know their rolls duties and propper procedures.... No ambulance chasers are needed for this case! Only an D.A and judge thtat knows and goes by the law. A good councelor for the teens if they were both indeed detained....

Kudos for the cop. The nerve of these parents to act as though they don't get it. Hello! You're a kid - having sex with another kid - do you really think you're ready for the very adult responsibilities that come with that, including "going to jail" when you don't pay your child support?

Seems to me, the police office did the honorable thing and approached the child in the company of his parents - another score/point in my books - and they should've been a bit more supportive.

In fact, I have already instructed my sons: If you see even the faintest sparkle in your little sister's eye, follow it to the suspected culprit and taser him in her presence. This way, the next time she sees him, or him her, they'll both be compelled to look the other way. And though she's twelve right now, she knows: There are a few new sheriffs in town and they're cloaked in the brotherhood and are, clearly, authorized to taser any boy within a few feet of her sparkling eyes.
