Terri said...My four y/o grandson LOVES all things Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends. His collection of characters and 'friends' is extensive and beloved by him, as are all of his Thomas DVD's. He has trouble saying the letter "L" and I can't keep a straight face as he tells me all the details about the "Rogging Rocos" (Logging Locos) on "Misty Island Rescue". Seriously, it cracks me up every time. That being said, it is Thomas himself that holds the title of his 'favorite toy'.

Harold said...Our son, like so many, is just enamored of Thomas and the rest. His favorite engine is that bad boy Diesel 10. It scared the heck out of him originally, but he kept going back again and again until it did not scare him any more and grew into his favorite engine.

Tracy Lucas said...My son's favorite toy is his imagination. That may sound lame, but it's true. No matter what object in our home he picks up to play with, it has probably served in four or five different roles! Sometimes plastic cups are cups, sure, but often they're hats, or shoes. A crayon might be a writing utensil, a french fry (not in your mouth!), an airplane, or a Play-Doh roller.
Of the store-bought toys, I'd have to say that he favors his Fisher-Price Laugh-n-Learn Mailbox, stuffed animals, and anything with Handy Manny's face on it. :)

Susan Buda said...My 2 (almost 3) year old Grandson spends almost all of his play time with Thomas and Friends trackmaster series....he lines them up every morning and talks to them before sending them out on the track. Yesterday we all enjoyed a Day Out With Thomas (lots of activities and fun) in Boone, Iowa; he didn't want to get out of the car when we got home to MN, he wanted to go all the way back to Iowa for another ride on Thomas....now we all love Thomas!
