Lance Armstrong has a new member on his team - daughter Olivia Marie. The seven-time Tour de France winner tweeted early Monday that his daughter has arrived.
She is Armstrong's fifth child. The cycling star and girlfriend Anna Hansen had son Max in June 2009.
Armstrong had three children with his ex-wife, Kristin.

Lance Armstrong has stepped down as a board member of Livestrong, the cancer-support charity he founded in 1997, the organization said Monday (November 12) .

Sunny said...Yes, I heard he was supportive druing her cancer scare. Guilt maybe? She desperitely wanted a child and he said he wanted to enjoy life without the responsibility of more children to raise/support. Right after they split, she adopted a child. I hope Sheryl has found happiness and as for Lance, no ill will towards him but she was one in a million...

cathy said...Lance also didn't think he could have more children........Sheryl wanted children but was also wonderful with his. When it comes down to it, they had grown in different directions.

Linda said...Maybe Lance didn't want to have children with Sheryl because she is an entertainer and on the road A LOT. Maybe, just maybe he wanted to have children with someone who would be at home, and the children could grow up at home and not on the road. I love Sheryl, so no ill will to her, but maybe Lance had his own reasons, and Sheryl had hers. Just sayin..

Overpopulation is a serious problem and in this day and age having five kids is showing irresponsibility. Okay so it's by two different women but the facts are still there. In a third world country we would call them uncivilized for having so many children. In the low income areas of the inner cities they would use the term Baby Daddy. Surely when the next girlfriend comes along she's gonna want one of those Armstrong babies too, eh?

nicole said...How disgusting is your language. This child is a child of God regardless. Lance has the means to raise his children and take good care of them. I agree that people should be married but this particular child will not be part of the welfare system like so many others. Mind your own business, you are not rightheous, just plain mean.

Brower said...Lance is no different than about a gazillion other guys who have groupies and others who are VERY available - and their male egos like the attention - especially from the younger ones. Sheryl Crowe is older and was probably becoming less attractive to Mr. Philanderer, who had younger meat for the taking. He left his wife for the same reason. No way can this tendency on the part of some - but certainly not all! - men be curbed. It's just Mother Nature providing men with the spectre of a fading libido and the temptation of more young women to impress & screw. Mark my words, even his current girlfriend will start to look old & matronly in time - and he'll move on to the next. He's a serial philanderer - like Tiger - and they just go from bed to bed until they can't get it up any more; then they like (and can only achieve satisfaction by) fellatio. A story as old as the hills...

hank said...That happens a lot.. a couple dates for quite a while, then split up because the woman wants children and he doesn't. Then he goes off and first thing you know, he has an instant kid with someone else he barely knows,..and then another.. Weird. He must think he is bullet proof by now.
