Warming Pouch Looks Like Baby Cooker

The Embrace Infant Warmer may look like a way to roast a baby with a side of potatoes, but it's actually a potential life-saver for children in the developing world.
Keeping low-birth-weight infants warm is a problem in some of the poorer places on our planet, but incubators are very expensive, and need to be plugged in to an electrical outlet, which can be scarce in rural areas. Enter the Embrace Infant Warmer, which costs "less than 1percent of a traditional incubator," according to the company's website. It is also far more portable, requiring only the occasional input of electricity.
So, how does it work? Parents or doctors treating a tiny tot simply heat a wax-filled pouch for about 20 minutes, then put the hot wax inside the "sleeping bag warmer," according to the website. Next, put your baby in, and, voila! The little bundle of joy stays warm for "at least" four hours.
What, exactly, are you putting your baby in? Gizmodo says it looks like a Fed Ex envelope. We say Mylar balloon. We're both wrong, though. Embrace says its space-age sleeping bag is made of "phase-change material" that will keep the heat evenly distributed on tender tushies -- not too hot, not too cold.
The product is still in development, but will cost less than $200 when available, according to Core77.com. If that price is accurate, we expect to see several helicopter parents scooping these up to keep their children at an optimal temperature all day long. Add a way to monitor the heat -- because you can't trust technology, you know -- and we think it could be a winner.
What do you think? Would you buy one of these bags to keep your baby warm?

You can get a lot of free baby items from Http://bit.ly/BABYlanding We've gotten a lot of free formula and different diapers as well. If they don't have exactly what you're looking for as a freebie, they usually have coupons available.
